Getting to Chepstow Castle
By Car: From the M4, take juncation 23 (East bound) and juncation 21 (West bound), from M48 take juncation 2.
By Train: Chepstow train station is approxaly 1km from Chepstow Castle.
By Bike: Chepstow Castle is on the National Cycle Network route number 42 route.
Chepstow Castle Opening Times
Chepstow Castle is open daily all year round (closed 24, 25, 26 December, 1st January and during extreme weather conditions) with last admission 30 minutes before closing. During the Summer month's Chepstow Castle is open till 6pm (July and August) and until 5pm (March till June and September till October) whilst closing at 4pm the rest of the year.

Chepstow Castle Ticket Prices
Pre-booking tickets avaiable or purchase on arrival. Adimission tickets price change throughout the year, next increase April 2024. There is a pay and display car park (Castle Dell Car Park) next to the castle, with 4 accessible parking spaces and dedicated coach area. Starting at £1.80 to £5.60 (cheaper on Sunday).
